Request a takedown

Use this form to ask us to take a photograph down. Sign in with the email address and password on your Spotago account, paste the photograph’s share link, and tell us why.

Every notice is tied to a Spotago account, so each one has a sender we can answer. This form needs an account with an email address and a password; an account that signs in with Google or Apple sends its notice from the app, through the photograph’s menu → Report → This is my home, This is me or This shows a child; and with no Spotago account at all, write to hello@spotago.com with the photograph’s share link.

Nothing comes down when a notice arrives. Each one is reviewed within minutes - by our moderation model, and by a person when one is needed - and the review decides what happens.

Your Spotago account

Open the photograph in Spotago, tap Share, and paste the link it gives you. The id on its own works too.

Why should it come down?

Is this your address?

Ticking that box asks us to stop publishing photographs taken in the small area around that address. We record what you tell us, when you told us, which account asked and where the request came from, and it is reviewed within minutes. We cannot do this for an area that contains a public place such as a museum, a station or a park.

We record every notice we receive, the account it came from, and every action we take on one.
